For Organisations

Work with Organisations

We work with housing providers, health services, community organisations, and local authorities to deliver chair yoga as a commissioned service for the people they support.

What we offer

We deliver regular, professionally-led chair yoga sessions that integrate into your existing community wellbeing provision. Our approach is flexible — we can run sessions in sheltered housing, community centres, health settings, or other spaces depending on your needs.

Sessions are suitable for older adults and people with limited mobility, making them a strong fit for:

  • Sheltered and supported housing providers — reducing isolation, improving physical health and wellbeing for residents
  • NHS and social prescribing programmes — a structured, accessible referral destination for patients who’d benefit from gentle movement and social connection
  • Age UK and similar organisations — complementary activity provision for older adults
  • Local authority services — preventative activity aligned with adult social care and community wellbeing goals

Why chair yoga works

Chair yoga is one of the most accessible forms of structured physical activity available. It can be adapted for participants with a wide range of conditions and abilities, requires no specialist equipment, and can be delivered in almost any community setting.

The evidence base for gentle movement programmes in older adults is strong. Benefits include improved flexibility, reduced fall risk, better sleep, reduced anxiety, and increased social connection. Chair yoga delivers all of these in a format that’s genuinely enjoyable and non-threatening.

A proven model

Our approach to commissioned delivery has been successfully funded and delivered through community infrastructure partnerships in the north east. We understand how commissioning frameworks work and can support the case for funding where needed.

We hold appropriate qualifications and insurance, maintain an active company registration, and bring years of experience across community engagement and health sector work.

Social prescribing

We’re actively developing referral pathways with Social Prescribing Link Workers in the Gateshead area. If you’re a GP practice, Primary Care Network, or social prescribing service, we’d welcome a conversation about how our sessions can support your patient population.
